Two-Day Wedding Affair at Malibu Garden Estate Features Small Ceremony and Huge Celebration

Jamie Trafican and Ross Wilson found themselves facing a wedding conundrum: while they envisioned their ceremony as an intimate affair with only close family and friends, they also knew they wanted to create a huge party centered around the idea of fun. The result was a stylish two-day fête at the Malibu Gardens Estate that hosted a few unique events allowing for Jamie and Ross to bring their entire wedding vision to life. Day 1 was all about timeless romance with a gorgeous ceremony overlooking mountainscapes and classic white florals accessorizing the altar. Roses and babies' breath took center stage for the floral design, adorning the altar as well as the aisle. Along the aisle, jars were hung from chairs featuring similar blooms and adding just a hint of ethereal whimsy to the day. Ceremony details kept things focused on showcasing Jamie and Ross' relationship and history together. Jamie's brother was an officiant extraordinaire and completely personalized their ceremony. In addition, Jamie and Ross paid homage to their dog Tri-Pod, who passed away, by featuring TP's collar tag attached in Jamie's bridal bouquet. Bistro lights created a delightful ambiance for a sit-down dinner following the ceremony, where Jamie and Ross were able to enjoy an intimate celebration in style. For Day 2 of the celebration, creating a fun party with a much-expanded guest list was the priority. A huge celebration took shape by the pool, featuring toasts, second looks and tons of dancing. Jamie's second dress featured a short silhouette with a chic feather skirt and plunging neckline; making it the perfect compliment to her more traditional ceremony look the day before. And of course, the night would not have been complete without sunset photos of our newlyweds, captured by Pamela Tatz with an artistic eye. The two-day extravaganza was the perfect way for Jamie and Ross to actualize their vision and brought family and friends from all over to celebrate in style.
