“With its rich texture and opulent appeal, velvet became the focal point of our vision, weaving its way through every detail of the shoot,” Jenna Nichols, planner from Better2gether Events, says. “From the bride’s shoes to the groom’s attire, from the tablescapes to the intricate décor, velvet enveloped every aspect in an aura of sophistication and allure.”
The day captured the pinnacle of a love story unfolding, including a poignant exchange of vows during the ceremony, intimate moments caught in the newlywed portraits and more. The bride was the epitome of elegance in a gown adorned with delicate accents, finished with cascading pearls and a lush bouquet. The groom was the picture of sophistication and charm in a tailored velvet suit with a velvet bow tie.
A lavish cocktail hour paired Booker Vineyard’s 2020 pink rosé with a custom charcuterie board, which were laid upon velvet-draped tables. High-top florals enhanced the atmosphere of refined luxury.
“In the end, ‘Velvet Dreams’ was more than a styled shoot; it was a testament to the enduring allure of romance and the timeless beauty of love,” Nichols says. “And amidst the grandeur of Villa Loriana, it served as a reminder that true elegance never goes out of fashion.”
