Whimsical, Colorful Gucci Garden Inspired Fete Featuring Eclectic Style at Hotel Californian

Playful and undeniably romantic, Kendall Fisher and Easton Fier’s wedding reflected the joyous nature of their eight-year relationship. The pair was introduced by a mutual friend, and on their first date, Kendall found herself enamored with his mischievous nature—after discovering that Easton had been faking a British accent the night they met. Although sparked by a little white lie, their relationship was built on a shared love of Frank Sinatra, extra dirty martinis and laughter. Hotel Californian provided the perfect venue for the pair to adorn with groovy pops of color and eclectic style. The outdoor ceremony space was transformed into their whimsical Gucci Garden vision with vibrant flower arches of red, blue, pink and pale purple. The bridesmaids, dressed in an artful array of bold colors, walked down the aisle with biodegradable balloons in hand, in lieu of flowers. In honor of Kendall’s late mother, the song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” recorded by the late Israel Kamakawiwo‘ole, was played in tribute as they released the balloons into the sky before Kendall walked down the aisle. After the couple’s emotional exchange of vows, the guests were ushered to a rooftop sunset cocktail hour, which was accompanied by a four-piece jazz quartet. The personal touches were plentiful, such as the “Cash Bar,” named after their beloved dog, custom pink matchbooks and butterflies—a symbol of Kendall’s mother—which were a featured motif on the dance floor and dinnerware. To set the tone for a night of revelry, Kendall and Easton led a short dance party after their grand entrance. After dinner, the fun-loving bride and groom donned their sneakers and danced the night away.
