Whimsical Tuscan-Inspired Wedding in Wine Country at Viansa Winery

This hilltop vineyard wedding brought Italian elegance to California with pastel florals, custom bridal glamour, and a sunset patio reception straight out of Tuscany.

Sherylann and Joe met in a wine group, and seven years of friendship followed before things shifted. By the time they were married, their shared love of wine and Italy had a venue to match: a hilltop winery in California wine country, styled after a Tuscan villa. The design leaned into an elegant Tuscan affair, with pastel pinks, creams and whites complemented by touches of silver and gold. Sherylann wore a custom princess-style gown with an off-the-shoulder beaded choker and tiara. Joe wore an Italian-made tuxedo with silver threading and a satin bow tie. Even the cocktail menu reflected their personalities with his-and-hers drinks dubbed Grumpy and Gorgeous. The patio reception unfolded under an open sky, with guests dining and dancing as the vineyard settled into dusk. For Sherylann and Joe’s evening, the California hills looked a lot like Tuscany.
