California Wedding Day gathered members of the California wedding community at the storied Hummingbird Nest Ranch for the second of two parties celebrating the launch of the Spring/Summer 2026 issue with a richly styled Winter Solstice aesthetic. Planned and designed by Events by Fran, the evening embraced a red-hued cocktail dress code that channeled old-Hollywood glamour against the ranch's European architecture and garden courtyards.
Layered tables dressed in BBJ La Tavola Linens and Premiere Party Rents furnishings set an elevated foundation for the celebration, while bold floral moments by Jaus of Vern added seasonal depth throughout the space. Custom invitation suites by Taylor Design Studio and event signage by The Kimi Collective welcomed guests with cohesive, editorial-forward design.
Guests sipped handcrafted coffee and espresso from CAYA Espresso Bars alongside wines from Ancient Peaks Winery and One Stone Cellars. Those refreshing beverages were paired with catering and bar service by MBM Hospitality, and Sugar Lab Bake Shop provided sweet dessert finales. Luxe hair and makeup for the California Wedding Day team were handled by PAGE Beauty, while Pacheco Beauty provided the glam for Events by Fran's team.
Live music by Enchanted Strings, ambient sound from Dare to Love Music and DJ/emcee services by GTZ Entertainment kept the energy flowing throughout the evening. A photo booth experience by Selfie Booth, content capture by The Social Vow, and gorgeous calligraphy luggage tags by Shescloudy Calligraphy added tons of interactive flair.
The evening was beautifully documented by Jillian Rose Photography and Jeremy Foster Films, putting a polished finishing touch on California Wedding Day's Winter Solstice celebration.
