Christina and Andrew married in an elevated springtime wedding set in the heart of DTLA swathed by a timeless white design. To honor their relationship, the couple opted for a wedding day venue that could bring history and elegance into the fold, and their choice to go with the Majestic Downtown solidified this. Featuring a breadth of unique architecture and extravagant design elements like original marble floors and columns, the Majestic has also served as the backdrop for a variety of Hollywood films ranging from Bridesmaids to The Dark Knight. Regal and sophisticated sights were a cornerstone of the day's mostly monochromatic design, aptly planned by Dee Lee of Dee Lee Designs. A classic white wedding brings with it a certain standard of formality and Christina and Andrew's black-tie event had guests and members of the bridal party dressed to the nines. Bridesmaids in maroon added a definitive color accent to the white landscape while paying homage to the day's palette with black accessories and white, airy bouquets. Bride Christina's Martina Liana gown showcased her ethereal beauty with a strapless neckline and dramatic train. The ceremony brought effusive florals to the forefront with a rectangular arch hand-crafted by Dolce Fiore taking centerstage. Cascading lighting displays brought a soft glow to the entire space and were a grandiose addition to the ceremony backdrop. Florals from the ceremony carried effortlessly into the reception in many forms, from all-white blooming tabletop creations to a sweetheart table that swathed our couple in a floral fantasy. Decor choices for the reception kept on theme while adding in some gold cutlery and chargers that brought a pop of glitz. Catering from Hungry Bear Catering offered delectable bite-sized baos and other selections before a sit-down meal. Christina and Andrew spent the evening surrounded by loved ones before changing into their second looks which paid homage to family culture. As the night appeared to be winding down, the party transitioned from the Majestic Downtown to the Pharaoh Karaoke Lounge for some late-night jams.
Dee Lee Designs crafted a glamorous white wedding in DTLA for Christina and Andrew's special day.
