The Wedding International Professionals Association (WIPA) Southern California welcomed the season with a dazzling gala at The Westin Anaheim Resort. Originally slated for January but postponed to July due to the Los Angeles wildfires, the evening unfolded with resilience and artistry, showcasing the strength of the wedding community.
Inspired by Rome’s Villa Borghese Gardens, the theme “Incanto di Roma – Enchantment of Rome in an Eternal Garden” transformed the resort’s ballroom into a scene of old-world romance. With design by Above the Top Events, florals by Irises Designs, and stationery by LA Design Boutique, the space bloomed with goddess-inspired statues, candlelit draping, and lush garden tablescapes. Rentals from Nuage Designs and tabletop details from Ceci NY added layers of elegance, while projections and lighting from Waveform Events bathed the room in a golden glow.
Guests were welcomed by Colibri Love Candles and aerial performances from RubyLemon, then invited to enjoy activations that delighted every sense: a Perfumer Station by Iris of the Moon with bottle engraving by Ink and Innuendos, engraved diffusers by Wyndzy, floral crown creations by Unforgettable Flowers, and live illustrations from Chasing Linen. The Lounge Booth offered themed photo lounges, while LM Treasures’ statues brought an air of grandeur.
Italian desserts from La Forchetta, frozen creations by Super Cool Creamery, and artisanal coffee by Café Biaani paired beautifully with themed cocktails. Entertainment by Business Time Entertainment and Nalu Piano Man kept the evening alive until the final dance.
California Wedding Day was honored to serve as media sponsor, with the evening captured by Lisset Gatliff Photography and Royal Films.
