Jamie and Tom wanted their day to be relaxed and intimate with their closest friends and family. Since their guest list was just under 100, Green Apple Events suggested the set up two large family-style tables to create a close-knit feeling. The beautiful spring day allowed for the sunlight to splash through the Loft windows enhancing the feeling of timeless romance. The sprawling dining tables were draped in ninety feet of eucalyptus garland with a touch of pink and white flowers highlighting the reception area.
Jamie dreamed of a bouquet with a variety of florals, while she loves succulents and greenery she wanted a plush feeling. Sweet Sage Events created a verdant mix of succulents with peonies, garden roses, astible and ranunculus, while her flower girls (clad in tutus handmade by the bride's mom and sister) delicate crowns were baby's breath and wax flowers with delicate crowns.
Jamie put her wedding dress in the hands of a friend who lives and designs in Puerto Rico, "I had to trust that it would fit based on the pattern she made," says Jamie. Luckily, it arrived two weeks before the big day and fit like a glove. Likewise, instead of having one professional made wedding cake, the couple asked friends and family to make or buy their favorite cake so instead of one--guests had dozens to sample. Sweet Sage Events styled the table with an abundance of florals and not a crumb remained behind.
