Last month, some of Southern California's industry greats gathered at Temecula's Altisima Winery for a bountiful Spanish-inspired dinner. Planner Michelle Garibay of Michelle Garibay Events ensured every detail reflected the beauty and historic charm of the venue, as the winery's architecture celebrates the Spanish captain who memorialized one of the state's oldest wine regions. The event showcased the sprawling event spaces available at the venue, as well as the talented team of culinary artists working at the winery's Gaspar's Restaurant. Event Designer Vanessa of West & Madison Events curated table décor that reflected the Mediterranean aesthetic of the venue, including vases and plateware sporting blue-and-white chinoiserie designs. Blooms in pale or faded shades of blue, pink and orange, table linens and rattan chandeliers all expressed the autumn season. Guests enjoyed wine from the venue's own label and delicious tapas before their artistically plated dinner selections, including Crème Vichyssoise and Seared Wagyu Beef Filets. Musician Joe Marx strummed away during cocktail hour, creating a relaxing atmosphere for attendees as they sipped their varietals of choice. During dinner, many toasts were made, including a few heartfelt words from California Wedding Day's publisher, Alexis Sanabria.
