BHLDN took full advantage of the famous California sunshine as they shot their Spring II collection at the beautiful Villa Sophia in Los Angeles. Built in the 1920’s, the Villa Sophia was once home to director James Whale, mastermind behind movies such as Frankenstein and Remember Last Night?. The historic estate provided the perfect canvas for BHLDN’s glamorous wedding gowns. Echoes of Old Hollywood are evident in the dress collection and proved to be gasp-worthy next to the lush poolside gardens.
Model Alejandra Alonso wore each gown effortlessly as she captured the essence of grace and sophistication from the 1950’s and 60’s with muses like the beautiful Grace Kelly and Brigitte Bardot. Romanticism is certainly evident with each dress' unique and delicate details of extra fine lace, intricate beading, embroidery and embellishments. It's safe to say we're still swooning over this stunning shoot.
