Bo & Christine

It was love at first sight for Bo and Christine. They hit it off
instantly when they met at a mutual friend’s going away party and an
amazing friendship and love sparked. During a trip to the Chicago
Botanical Gardens, Bo proposed by reading a love poem he had written
while a few friends and Christine's sister secretly photographed the
moment. 

To convey the sweetness of love and share their own, Bo and Christine
chose the theme “Romantic Elegance” with blush pink and silver as the
color palette. And their venue choice was easy as the St. Regis Monarch
was the perfect venue to convey the mood. As a designer, Christine
happily took charge of the stationery and even came up with fun response
cards for the guests, which asked about their favorite parts of the
ceremony, advice for the newlyweds, and their thoughts on love. One of
the bridesmaids opened the ceremony by playing “You Raised Me Up” on the
flute as Christine walked down the aisle. At the end of the ceremony,
Bo and Christine exited to bubbles blown by their guests and into a
beautiful outdoor dining room at the St. Regis, which featured tables
topped with hydrangea arrangements in crystal vases and a Godiva
chocolate at each seat. The reception was filled with sweet moments,
including a touching speech from Christine’s long-time best friend and
maid of honor, some unexpected dancing from her dad and adorable penguin
cake toppers made to match the bride and groom.
