California Wedding Day Fall/Winter 2026

To execute a theme with the precision of a guillotine, no detail can be spared, and such was the case in the creation of Sarina and Travis’ “Marie Antoinette meets California grit” wedding day. The storied rolling grounds of the bride’s family estate served as an idyllic backdrop for the romantic design to unfold. A coquette bow sat atop the welcome sign; the ends pulled back in a theatrical fashion to reveal pastel hues that would carry throughout the event.

Embracing the lush opulence of the French monarchy, an abundance of soft pink, purple and ivory blooms lined the aisle. Set against dreamy willow trees, three larger-than-life floral installations served as the altar with a twinkling chandelier hanging from each for added grandeur. The bridesmaids, all dressed in sweet shades, substituted the traditional bouquets for thematic holding fans adorned with small flower heads.

Gilded portraits, embroidered pillows, and vintage- inspired velvet lounge furnishings let guests lean into royal luxury during the cocktail hour. Evoking Sofia Coppola’s take on the French queen, the bar wrap featured cheeky imagery of pastel macarons, the newlyweds’ pets wearing wigs and 17th-century ladies blowing gum bubbles. Each custom detail was intentionally curated to foster a playful luxury ambiance, allowing Sarina and Travis to feel like royalty on their wedding day.
