We're giddy over this adorable shoot from A Good Affair Wedding and Event Production at the Chuck Jones Center in Costa Mesa. The whimsical bright berry colors with the gold blasts of glam simply put us in the best of moods--and brightens up the usual subdued wedding palettes. Decorative accents like mirrored tabletops and the gold gilded bar add a modern edge to the festive feeling created by the paper ribbon streamers and oversized balloons. We love how even the food created by 24 Carrots riffs on the theme from the berry deserts to the raspberry and blackberry muddled mojito. A touch of playful modernity is added by the hanging lucite dessert station featuring crepe-cakes, beautiful french macaroons and fruit tarts dusted with gold flake.
Every detail, down to the lush, loose-tied berry bouquet (a punchy combo of fuchsia garden roses, eggplant ranunculus, pieris japonica, juliet garden roses and greens) by Stems by Kate to the gorgeous florals in gold glittered vases is pure perfection. But the star of the show is the handmade ribbon ceremony backdrop which was hand-cute from thousands of sheets of paper and curled into a fun and unexpected piece. "You can add so much texture and dimension with art installations for your wedding," notes Good. Add in a confetti finish and you've got a romantic and whimisical celebration.
