Wildflowers and Sunshine: A Breathtaking and Colorful Mountaintop Wedding at Stonewall Ranch

When Sarah and David’s friends and families flew across the country for their wedding weekend in the sun-drenched Santa Monica Mountains, including the couple’s pup Miles was only natural. Sarah and David brought their dog along for many of their firsts, like when they traveled from New York to LA after being approved for their first California home. The outdoor ceremony took place on a mountaintop at Stonewall Ranch Malibu with sweeping views of the ocean and countryside. The bright and colorful decorations complemented the natural light, and wildflowers and lush greenery created an intimate setting under the wide, open sky. After exchanging vows, the newlyweds walked down the hill to the outdoor reception area while taking in the perfectly timed sunset, the air brimming with energy. Disco balls created a playful atmosphere, both on the dance floor and as decorations that bedecked floral arrangements. With a menu of local California cuisine, the couple provided their guests a taste of LA’s culture and scenery. After a night of dancing under the dark sky and mountain shadows, the guests traveled along the scenic Pacific Coast Highway to the Fairmont Miramar hotel, which served as a home base for the guests, the newlyweds and each pre- and post-wedding event
