Mid-Century Modern Inspiration at The Garland in North Hollywood

Nestled in North Hollywood, The Garland Hotel is the perfect place for couples searching for a low-key venue boasting mid-century modern decor. Inspired by The Garland's beautiful design, Kristeen LaBrot created a lush, contemporary setting set against a neutral palette with soft moments of plum. Working alongside Leslie Armendariz of Rebelle Fleurs (formerly Pixie's Petals), LaBrot opted for loose and natural florals with gold geometric vessels with clean lines. Furniture from Archive Rentals added to the mid-century flair, including sofas, occasional tables and chairs--as well as details like sawhorse-legged cocktail tables which added an architectural flair. For the table design, Labrot added natural elements such as the distressed wood table, woven place mats and, one of our favorite accents, agate napkin rings. White mismatched chairs and brass flatware alongside blue goblets added moments of unexpected color and beauty. Menus and invitations that reflected the mid-century movement were created by Jasmin Michelle Designs while a decadent dessert bar from Fantasy Frostings caps off the affair.
