One of the best oceanfront properties in southern California just got even better. Surf & Sand, the scenic Laguna Beach hotel, recently completed a year-long renovation this past fall. Overseen by in-house designer Lindsay Orne, the entire resort’s design was updated with a coastal color palette and beachy touches such as driftwood art and iridescent shell textures.
Every guestroom and suite was refreshed with subtle paint in shades of silver, blue and tan. The formal ballroom received a cosmetic makeover that included new carpet, draperies and fixtures—making the already majestic room that much more striking. Be sure to stop by the remodeled spa, which can be rented out for bridal parties. New offerings, such as the Made Fresh Daily, use seasonal, organic ingredients in a rotating menu of treatments.
