From my little pony to polo, it’s time for brides to wrangle up their best gals and enjoy some quality time before the big day. Saddle up and make a bachelorette weekend more memorable (and instagrammable) with an equestrian theme, whether your crew is more Annie Oakley or Gigi Hadid. Below are three west coast bachelorette destinations made for horsing around.

Channel your inner “Pretty Woman” at a polo-themed affair: Soak in the last of your single days in one of the west coast’s single most stunning destinations, the American Riviera, while enjoying one of the most beautiful spectator sports. Santa Barbara’s polo season is a bucket list experience for anyone whose idea of a good time is posting up in the polo lounge, enjoying local wine and beer tastings, and partaking in the famous mid-game divot stomp Pretty Woman. Plan around one of the season’s most celebrated events, the Belmond El Encanto Robert Skene Trophy held July 15–22, or take in a match any Sunday from May through October 14 at the historic Santa Barbara Polo Fields. Special experiences and packages can be arranged through Belmond El Encanto (pictured above), which serves as a perfect retreat offering an array of favorable amenities, including the pool with forever views of the city below.

Channel Old Hollywood glamour and double down on the ponies: Gather your well-dressed posse for a weekend in sunny San Diego and partake in one of the west coast’s longest-running traditions, the seaside racetrack at Del Mar. Located just 20 miles up the coast from downtown San Diego, Del Mar is where old Hollywood (and new) have celebrated the summer for nearly a century. Visitors don stylish summer ensembles and extravagant hats and spend the day placing bets, enjoying cocktails and bites and some of the best people-watching. Position your group downtown at the new Pendry Hotel where you can keep the festivities going, and celebrate your winnings and share stories over a bubbly brunch to end the weekend. Races run from July 18-Labor Day followed by the second season in November.

Round up your crew for a weekend in the wild, wild west: Who needs Westworld when you have an authentic 150-year-old guest ranch without all the debauchery and robots? Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson, AZ is one of America’s original, old-time cattle and guest ranches and an ideal destination for adventurous bachelorettes that aren’t afraid of getting a little dusty. As the ultimate dude ranch experience, activities include miles of horseback riding trails through majestic mountains and desert, hiking, yoga, Jeep adventures, and more. The Ranch’s amenities include four tennis courts among the towering saguaro and ocotillo, several swimming pools, and more than 150 horses for lessons and rides from sun-up to sunset. At the end of the day, toast to the B-to-B with signature Prickly Pear Margaritas at the Dog House Saloon.
