Showstopping Scene: Romantic Floral Wonderland at Taglyan Complex

The floral wonderland designed by Los Angeles’ Eddie Zaratsian Lifestyle and Design (eddiezaratsian.com) for Chris and Pateil Sarafoglu’s wedding at the Taglyan Complex (taglyancomplex.com) was inspired by the couple’s marble wedding invitations. Romantic with modern details was the theme for Zaratsian and coordinator Anita Haftavani of Fancy That! Events (fancythatevents.com), who elaborated by incorporating gold and ivory touches throughout the space. More than 1,000 white roses in full bloom with sprigs of eucalyptus leaves were used throughout the wedding, but it was the incredible sweetheart table with cascading white roses that took guests’ breaths away. The table for two was flanked by tall gold vases and mirrored stands overflowing with roses, while lighted candles were nestled among the abundant flowers. Just behind Chris and Pat’s table was a vignette featuring an extravagant marble and gold foil cake created by Santa Monica’s Butter End Cakery (thebutterend.com), complemented with streams of hanging roses just behind the sweetheart table. “Chris and Pat’s reaction was the best part of the day for me,” says Zaratsian. “When the bride came into the reception ballroom, she immediately started crying of happiness!”
