Tucked into the mountain town of Big Bear Lake sits N + P a new, design-driven boutique-lodge experience honoring the charm of the past. The interior is eclectic and posh, and each of its eight cabins tells a unique story, named and curated with the grandparents of the owners— designers and developers Sara and Sven Simon—in mind. (Sara leads the design firm Handsome Salt.) The aesthetic intertwines modern amenities with vintage design, and features Parachute linens, For All Folks bath amenities and other luxurious details. There are seven two-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath cabins with fully equipped kitchenettes; and one four-bedroom cabin for large groups of up to 14 people, with a furnished patio and cedarwood soaking tub.
The quaint property includes a central gathering space—perfect for an intimate wedding, a rehearsal dinner, a welcome party or an informal hangout. Guests have the option to buy out the property and house their entire party on-site. N + P is also a lovely spot for a mini moon or bachelor/bachelorette getaway, with complimentary beach cruiser bikes on-site and close proximity to outdoor activities, from skiing in the winter to hiking in the summer.
