Though mutual friends once recommended that Kelsey and Jordan get to know each other, it was a Hinge recommendation that ultimately brought them together. Once they matched, the connection came easily—and before long, the two were planning a destination wedding in the coastal waters of Southern California.

On an early fall day, the couple welcomed guests to Catalina Island for their celebration at the iconic Casino. The venue itself set the stage: visitors ascend the building’s well-known ramp before arriving at the grand ballroom, and the moment of entering the space feels like a reveal. Just outside, the balcony offers sweeping views of the Pacific, particularly striking as the sun begins to set.

The ceremony took place inside the Casino’s historic theater. Rather than incorporating a traditional chuppah, the bride and groom opted for a ground-level semicircle floral installation that framed them during the vows while allowing the architecture of the room to remain part of the scene. White florals and candlelight carried throughout the design, reinforcing the venue’s timeless atmosphere.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued with an especially meaningful first dance—performed live by Kelsey’s father on guitar. Later in the evening, the energy shifted when Jordan stepped behind the DJ booth himself, taking over the final set and keeping the dance floor full until the end of the night.
