Exuding elevated vintage charm and moody elegance, Victoria and Andrew's wedding at the Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano was a timeless celebration of love. The couple met on Hinge while Andrew was visiting California, and after flying back and forth from New York to visit Victoria a few times, Andrew decided to take the leap and move across the country to be with her. Their relationship grew quickly and naturally, and while the two were on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Andrew proposed on a private balcony overlooking the ocean.
The pair chose the Franciscan Gardens for their intimate courtyard ceremony, and, enclosed by lush greenery, the bride and groom exchanged vows under an arbor of white and ivory flowers. Victoria's artistic eye inspired charming details, such as butterfly motifs that appeared throughout the day. Vintage touches—from ornate glassware and eclectic 1920s lamps to the black-and-white checkered dance floor—created a cohesive style of classic, organic colors and richly layered textures. For a nostalgic guestbook, family and friends signed postcards and placed them in an antique mailbox.
An indulgent nod to their love for Disney, Victoria and Andrew surprised their guests with Mickey Mouse-themed soft-pretzels and ice cream, served from the couple’s custom dessert stations to complement their gracefully elegant aesthetic.
