Claire, a student in medical school and her groom Brad, a student in law school, set out to create the perfect beach wedding for their guests that was all about their vision for fun and ease. The couple chose Montecito Country Club in Santa Barbara as the perfect location for guests near and far to experience the true California vibe.
A color palette of deep blues, bright whites and luscious greens set the scene for the big day. Mismatched bridesmaids dresses added a personal touch to the affair, paired with light blue bowties for the groomsmen. Stella Bloom Designs created a dream bouquet of white blooms and succulents all tied together with a frayed ribbon, adding to the chic laidback style of the day. Beautiful floral arrangements flanked the aisle as guests watched the happy couple exchange their vows.
"One of my favorite things about Claire and Brad's wedding was their choice for their officiant--Claire's grandmother. Ceremonies are always sweet, but this one was especially beautiful and personal as a grandmother passed on wisdom and love to her granddaughter. The day was a perfect representation of Claire and Brad as a couple--refined and sophisticated, with a bunch of fun and positivity thrown in," says the event designer, Vanessa Noel Events.
A Fabulous Fete captured Claire's desire of the perfect "card" display using capiz shells and handwritten calligraphy. Guests flooded into the club's lounge where neutral and refined tablescapes awaited. Pretty glassware and simple table settings accented with slate plates made for the most beautiful reception. The couple danced for the first time as husband and wife surrounded by their family and friends.
