“There were two moments that I will never forget. The first was when I walked into the church with my dad. There was so much anticipation for that exact moment that when it happened it was so surreal. When the doors opened and Alphonse and I saw each other for the first time, we both completely lost it.
The second moment was when we walked into the reception room. Our coordinator Trina had us come into the [reception] room to see it before anyone else had gone in. We got to walk around and dance together, just the two of us. It was so special.”
