On Cloud Nine: Breathtaking, Sky Inspired Wedding at Ceilo Farms

Alexandra Wohnhas met the love of her life, Nabil Kassas, through her mother’s recommendation—it took a couple of years for her to warm up to the idea of meeting with a stranger, but after connecting, they became inseparable. Alexandra and Nabil’s wedding day at Ceilo Farms in Malibu was inspired by the sky, with great clouds of ivory and pale pink flora lined the aisle, the mirrored seating chart, and seemed to float overhead as the pair exchanged vows at the altar. Alexandra wore an incredibly intricate lace gown, tulle overskirt and cathedral length lace mantilla veil, giving her an angelic appearance amongst the cloud-like florals against the breathtaking mountain backdrop. Nabil was equally stunning, Alexandra’s handsome counterpart looking smart in his tailored tuxedo. The reception was punctuated by the happy couple’s larger than life sweetheart table décor, a giant heart crafted from baby’s breath as a nod to their families’ nicknames of “love birds” and “one heart,” for the pair. As the sun set, Alexandra changed into a flirty Danielle Frankel mini dress which inspired the sugar flower cake design, making for a picturesque cake cutting. Mixing in Arabic music alongside American classics, guests celebrated Alexandra and Nabil’s nuptials with a lively dance party among the great swaths of fluffy florals – leaving everyone in attendance on cloud nine.
