Jennifer and John wanted their wedding to be a blending of two families, not just the marriage of two people. “An antique dresser which the couple used for their cake display was the initial inspiration for a vintage beach wedding infused with a palette of beach blues and sunset sky hues,” says Jenni Hill of Little Hill Floral Design.

Their intimate, beachfront ceremony was centered on a lush floral-draped backdrop and filled with exotic plants, vintage jars and tall, blooming pampas grass in a neutral blue, grey and green color palette. White hydrangeas were surrounded by avalanche white garden roses, anemone, white ranunculus and ivory majolica roses in the bride’s romantic bouquet, along the sandy aisle and throughout the quaint reception.

The groom wore a unique pastel boutonniere made from the same feather-looking pampas grass seen throughout the ceremony, gray dusty miller and a sprig of green maiden hair fern. Other details included programs and menus that were hand-painted with a delicate, pastel watercolors by Momental Designs and in lieu of a traditional guest book, the couple had guests drop well-wishes into a collection of antique bottles to be opened on their 1st, 5th, 7th and 10th anniversaries.
