Ellen and Brandon's wedding day was a record breaker in Aptos. Though the central California coast is often foggy and cool during the summer, on their special day, it was 106+ degrees. Even though it was hot and toasty, the overriding feeling from wedding guests was happiness for Ellen and Brandon, and nothing stopped them from celebrating on their beautiful day. Over eight years in the making and with covid-19 changing their original plans, this wedding was going to happen. Set in the hills above the ocean, the Spanish style villa among olive orchards and beautiful outdoor spaces was the perfect backdrop for a wedding. Ellen was married at one of her favorite spots in the world. She dined al fresco on the back patio with the last rays of the day shining on her husband and wedding guests. The day was a moment dipped in honey--soft, sweet, and tinged in amber. In the evening, the cool ocean breeze swept upon the party at last. Dancing, laughter, and joy produced sounds that bounced down the hillside below the house, echoing into the night.
