dress. And by big guns, I’m not just talking about rippling biceps

Meet Dolvett

there are exercises; we’ll get to those. But first let’s meet the man
behind the makeovers. Heading into his fifth season on the hit NBC show The Biggest Loser,
Dolvett is proving that his passion, regimen and dramatic
transformational results are making him one of the most in-demand
fitness specialists in the country.

Born
in Stamford, Connecticut, Dolvett and his three siblings were adopted
by a Jamaican couple and later moved to Florida, where he finished high
school. He then moved to Atlanta to pursue his passion for fitness and
established himself as a leader in his field of health and fitness.

In
2004, Dolvett opened Body Sculptor, a private personal training studio
in Atlanta with a commitment to "changing lives one rep at a time." His
business had a solid following, but it wasn't until a local radio
personality started talking about it on his show that Dolvett and his
business really took off. He then widened his business to training other
trainers, which then led to training celebrities such asactors Angela
Bassett, Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker, Baltimore Ravens tight end
Daniel Wilcox and singer-songwriter JoJo, among others.

Within
the studio, he created Pure Energy, a high-intensity circuit-training
class with a live DJ. The popularity of Dolvett's fitness methods
inspired the launch of his own DVD, Me and My Chair: The No Excuses Workout,
a low-impact, high-intensity 30-minute workout system that helps users
tone up and slim down while only using a household chair.

Soon after, Dolvett was cast on The Biggest Loser. His connection with the audience garnered the attention of Mark Burnett, who cast him on the NBC series Stars Earn Stripes,
which followed a group of celebrities accompanied by members of the
military and law enforcement, competing in various challenges for their
favorite charities. He has also guest starred on the hit BET series The Real Husbands of Hollywood.

Dolvett is also a New York Times best-selling author. His first book, The 3-1-2-1 Diet: Eat and Cheat Your Way to Weight Loss - Up to 10 Pounds in 21 Days, published by Grand Central Publishing, came out in November, 2013. He currently lives in Los Angeles and enjoys time with his son, Isiah.

Now
that we’re positive he’s got the chops to get us all in shape (as if we
weren’t sure!), here are the five exercise that Dolvett suggests for
blasting calories and toning up at the same time, all to get you wedding
day ready! Yep...just 5. You can do that!

BURPEES
Bring
your hands down to the floor, shoulder-distance apart. Step or jump
back into a plank. Jump or step your feet forward, and stand up. Repeat.

MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS
Get
down on all fours. Bring your knees in toward your chest one at a time,
as if you were climbing. Keep your heels up high. Slow down if needed.

SQUATS WITH BICEP CURLS
This
is a combination movement with both squats and biceps curls. You only
need a towel. Hold the towel between your hands, and bring them
shoulder- distance apart. Squat down and bend your elbows to 90 degrees,
pulling your wrists away from each other. As you stand up, bring your
arms back down.

LUNGE TWISTS
Step
your right foot back into a lunge, then twist your torso and upper body
to the left side. Twist back to center as you step your feet back
together, then repeat on the other side.

REAR-STEPPING LUNGES WITH ONE ARM ROW
Start
with your feet hip-width apart and arms by your sides, holding a weight
or a heavy object, such as a gallon of water, in your right hand. Step
your right foot back, dropping your knee toward the floor into a lunge
as your left leg bends toward 90 degrees. Once you’re in the lunge, pull
your arm straight up with the elbow pointing behind you. As you step
forward and come out of the lunge, bring the arm back down by your side.
