First Ashley Tisdale added a graceful edge to the boho look, and then our quintessential California girl Lauren Conrad stole our hearts with her absolutely perfect Badgley Mischka wedding gown--and oh, that veil made our day. Loose locks and a beautiful silver headpiece cinched the look along with subtle makeup and a chic cat eye (something tells us we'll be seeing more of those soon). And now, the penultimate with Amal Alamuddin's Oscar de la Renta gown. Obviously, when it comes to marrying Hollywood's most eligible bachelor, nothing short of amazing will do. After just one peek at Amal's gown--mind you we haven't even seen the complete look--we're sold. Fashion latest icon looks stunning in her beautiful Oscar de la Renta gown with delicate lace detailing from head to toe, romantic off-the-shoulder cut and a train for days. Clearly, this is what it takes to snag George Clooney, strong, successful and simply gorgeous.
If we take one thing away from the latest round of celebrity weddings--from Ashley Tisdale to Amal, bygone are the days of slim-fitting, unadorned sheath gowns. It's all about capturing that timeless, princess moment with just the right amount of lace, an amazing veil and oh, the train. We can't wait to see more from the Clooney's nuptials, we'll be one of the first in line to pick up the October issue of Vogue.
