Michelle and Moose' lives ran parallel to one another for years, yet never crossed paths. It wasn't until after connecting through a friend's Facebook page that the two realized they had lived down the street from one another for four years, and had even celebrated Michelle's birthday together. Michelle's detective skills made the proposal tricky but Moose was determined. He planned a get-together with friends at his favorite bar for his 29th birthday and, per tradition, he thanked each friend for their friendship. When he came to Michelle, he got down on his knee and turned his birthday reminiscing into a proposal.
Their wedding encapsulated designer Jonathan Adler's vision of bold and mod tastes, so the Adler-designed Parker in Palm Springs was the perfect place for Michelle and Moose to say "I do". The funky and monder decor matched their personalitites and allowed the couple to incorporate Persian details into their nontraditional wedding. The memorable night included a wig-adorned reception entrace, a wedding turned flash-mob during the first dance and a splashy finale as Moose and Michelle jumped into the pool with their wedding party following closely behind them.
