Nadia Tseng and Jon Ruprecht’s celebration kicked off with a nostalgic welcome dinner at Chez Jay, the very spot where the couple had their first date, setting the tone for a weekend that promised to be nothing short of magical. The following day, the sandy shores of Santa Monica beach played host to a larger welcome party that paid homage to the couple’s sun-kissed days of beach volleyball, where their love blossomed. Finally, the pair held their nuptials at Shutters on the Beach, with the endless Pacific horizon as their backdrop, culminating in an evening of jubilant dancing and heartfelt toasts. The décor gave glimpses into their story, with drink napkins and candy cart details playfully acknowledging their beloved dog, Kimble, and floral arrangements bursting with fall colors. Opting for potted greenery over traditional florals for the ceremony altar, the couple infused their day with a sense of earthy elegance, embodying their grounded and genuine love for each other. “There were multiple moments of shedding tears as they were truly so happy to be surrounded by loved ones on their wedding day. It was a beautiful mix of sentimental emotions and partying the day away. This wedding felt so representative of the couple; it was truly the perfect day for them,” says Becca Maas of Becca Maas Photography.
Nadia and Jon crafted a thoughtful wedding day design featuring homages to their dog Kimble and seasonal florals.
