Under the beautiful September skies of California, Avery Hazelrigg and Chris Caskey hosted their wedding at Parker Palm Springs, a perfect choice since its chic and fun aesthetic pairs well with the couple’s lively relationship. The two met at a beach bonfire party in high school, and then, years later, Chris proposed to Avery in Florence, Italy. Pink, Avery’s favorite color, was melded with Chris’ love for Palm Springs—desert vibes and mid-century modern—to create a bright and sophisticated atmosphere. The backdrop for the ceremony featured lush flowers, including roses, dahlias and anthuriums, to create a whimsical environment. A curving aisle imbued the moment with a fairy-tale aura. After the couple’s exchange of vows, guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails, which were accompanied by custom cocktail napkins starring their cat, Fig, and emblazoned with “I do too.” The reception featured elegant pink details, white linens and clear tableware, and even included a custom checkered dance floor. The bride and groom made a whimsical grand entrance by dancing to “We Go Together” from Grease, one of the many memorable moments of their special day. “In the middle of dinner, Chris and I walked to the corner of the room and just looked out at everybody, and both our families all in one place,” says Avery. “And we just soaked in the beauty of all the details.”
