Winter Wonderland: Snowy Whites, Crystals and A Jammin' Band at The Majestic Downtown

Industry vendors and their teams rang in the holiday in style at The Majestic Downtown in Los Angeles for WIPA SoCal's (Wedding Industry Professional Association) second annual Holiday Gala. The Winter Wonderland Gala was a breathtaking and snowy-inspired celebration created and designed by wedding planners Robin Ballard of Events by Robin and Hylah White of Hylah White Special Events (who also brought her organizational talents to our own event, Best of Bride 2015).

The historic Majestic Downtown was the perfect backdrop. Champagne and holiday mule cocktails welcomed guests into cocktail hour while they swayed to the jazz trio and indulged in an assortment of exquisitely prepared tray-passed hors d'oeuvres, a raw bar, and an artisan cheese station. Next, guests took a stroll through a snowflake-lit hallway filled with fresh evergreens and lanterns surrounded by snow, leading them to the biggest reveal of the evening, the grand ballroom. Guests entered the reception to a visual winterland adventure, with glowing candelabras and cascading crystals that accentuated the ornate ceiling. The 8-piece band filled the room with cheer, while each table was individually curated to offer a unique experience at every glance. No detail was left untouched from the lush flowers to the beautifully crafted place settings.

When guests took their seats they each embarked on their own dining experience with an alternating prefix menu. Guests danced the night away on a snowflake lit dance floor as they sipped on a holiday latte and indulged in festive specialty desserts.
