Our 2nd Annual Best of Bride event at the Legendary Park Plaza Hotel in downtown Los Angeles was an incredible night from start to finish. We celebrated the industry's Best of Bride nominees in a fabulous awards ceremony announcing the winners (see the full list of here!) and then kept the party rolling as a talented team of vendors transformed the Park Plaza into a modern zen lounge, a morrocan den and an 90's-inspired nightclub. Holding court regally in the Park Plaza's Grand Ballroom, Eddie Zaratsian Custom Florals and Lifestyle (winner of Best Event Design) designed a luxurious Baroque glam environment.
Beautiful lounge areas by Revelry Event Designers (winner of Best Overall Vendor) flanked each side of the pillared ballroom nestled with ornate silver and gold settees paired with beautiful rose gold occassional tables. Abbundant bursts of florals by Tic-Tock Couture Florals in classic shades of soft pinks, peaches and hints of blues inpsired by 18th century still-life paintings added elegance to the setting.
The piece de resistance was the decadent food spread by Summit Event Catering which included an assortment of cheeses, crackers, breads, fruits available for nibbling in addition to an incredible menu of seabass on a bed of cilantro with lemon zest, slow braised boneless short rib served over garlic russet mash potatoes with black peppercorn sauce and a salad duo of baby romaine with dried cherries and crumbled feta with Meyer Lemon vinaigrette and heirloom tomatoes with mozzarella and balsamic. And with Hey Mister DJ spinning cool beats, the vibe was perfect for sipping, chatting and networking the night away.
