Los Angeles' Loho Bride is the first shop in the United States to welcome Dana Harel, an evening gown designer from Israel who is quickly becoming one of the bridal industry's biggest stars. Her gowns showcase feminine details, modern cuts and a fresh new take on the traditional bridal gown, creating elegant avant-garde fashion for brides of every style.
From Gabrielle Abraham of Gabrielle's List: "Dana Harel, one of Israel’s leading bridal and evening gown designers, has started her company in a little less than seven years and has since achieved massive success. To date, she has dressed a myriad of international celebrities including supermodel Bar Rafeli, Quentin Tarantino's fiancée Daniella Pick, and Whitney Tingle (co-founder of Sakara Life), to name a few. Not to mention that she has already been featured in Vogue Paris and nominated as 2017’s ‘Best Fashion Designer’ by At Magazine (Israel’s leading lifestyle magazine).
Dana originally majored in literature & psychology and it was only after she met her husband, who fiercely encouraged her to pursue fashion, that she decided to give her vision a shot. She went about this by studying at Shenkar (Israel’s top art and design school) and then landed a highly coveted job as the assistant to fashion designer Lilach Elgrably, one of Israel’s revered evening gown designers. After working there for a year and half Dana opened Dana Harel Design.
Dana has established a reputation for designing breathtaking dresses that consist of custom-made designs, top-quality materials and the most luxurious fabrics. Moreover, she has differentiated herself from the other bridal-dress designers by not utilizing lace, vintage or other conventional fabrics, and instead has employed a fresh approach to the traditional bridal dress. She has done this by taking evening-gown-like dresses and applying materials such as beads, silks, handmade embroidery, flower-like pieces and more. Nonetheless, each of her bridal-dresses maintains her signature style, which exudes contemporary, clean-cut and feminine elements.
This incredible designer is making her way to the US for her first trunk show, which will be taking place this weekend from November 9th-12th at LA’s Loho Bride. Her trunk show will consist of pieces from her past collection – Secret Garden as well as pieces from her new collection, which will be debuted in December."
