Melissa and Paul were married in Lake Tahoe at a private estate in an absolutely beautiful garden overlooking the lake. The couple knew they wanted to plan a destination wedding and with dreams of being wed outdoors with breathtaking scenery, Lake Tahoe provided the perfect location. Eighty-five of Melissa and Paul’s closest friends and family traveled from all over the world to celebrate the two on their perfect day.
The ceremony was absolutely charming and intimate as the couple were married by a close friend who became ordained just to wed the two. In addition, two other dear friends, an accomplished violinist and guitarist, performed the music of the ceremony. With Paul being South African, along with many of the guests in attendance, pieces of his homeland wanted to be incorporated. Marvelously, Martha Bernyk Floral Design was able to include Protea’s, the National flower of South Africa, into the floral arrangements.
At cocktail hour guests could be found sipping margaritas, followed by a gorgeous dinner on the lawn of the property. And as if the night couldn’t get any more magical, an incredible super moon rose right up over the mountains and lit up the dance floor in in a dazzling spectacular.
