Cristine
and Jorge had been friends for 10 years before making their
relationship into a romantic one. Jorge proposed in Montery Beach right
by the water, as the beach holds special meaning to the couple. Each
having grown up minutes away from the ocean, the transition to Fresno
was a difficult one, not just for the distance to the water but also to
their friends and family. Their first road trip together in California
was to the Cliff’s Resort in Shell Beach to get their ocean fix. They
fell in love with the location, so it only made sense that their first
special moment with the beaches in California would be where they were
wed. They wrote their own vows and recited them overlooking the ocean,
in a ceremony that brought their friends and family - who traveled from
Florida to be there - to tears. As they finished, a flock of seagulls
flew overhead, a confirmation of the couple’s love.
