Foggy Wedding Day With Ethereal Ambiance at Montecito Club

Jacqueline and Eric’s wedding was a captivating affair on the sprawling lawn of the Montecito Club, a country club that overlooks the sparkling Pacific Ocean and the city of Santa Barbara. To preserve this stunning view, the couple chose just four of their nearest and dearest to stand up with them. In a unique move, 10 pairs of their closest friends walked down the aisle and were seated in the first two rows. The final two pairs consisted of the groom’s brother and best friend, accompanied by the groom’s sister and the bride’s best friend, who took their place next to the couple. But instead of sea views, on this auspicious day, a thick fog enveloped the surroundings, creating an ethereal atmosphere. A violin quartet accompanied the bride’s walk down the aisle, performing a string version of the couple’s favorite song, Rihanna’s “Stay.” The enchantment continued after the ceremony with a cocktail hour in the club’s Moroccan-inspired Great Room. One of the most memorable moments was when the bride ran into actor Orlando Bloom as he guided his kids to the club’s movie theater, and he took a moment to compliment the bride’s beauty. Dinner took place in the banquet room with sweeping vistas of the golf course. The couple’s vision was simple: abundant drinks, a lively band and an intimate dance floor. Together with their guests, Jacquie and Eric celebrated with nonstop dancing until the evening’s end. When they were eventually asked to leave, the party relocated to State Street via trolley, where the celebration continued late into the night.
