Magic played a part in Jon Blanchard and Louise Griffiths’ love story, from meeting at a Halloween party—where Louise was dressed as Snow White—to a memorable date at Disneyland that led to love. After a romantic engagement at Lake Como, Italy, Jon and Louise knew their wedding day had to be equally magical. Interactive, fun and filled with surprises was their number-one goal when they approached Joey Lizotte of Artisan Event Floral Decor in Palm Springs. First, they tied the knot in a romantic garden setting on The Parker Palm Springs’ Autry Lawn, and then the party began. Guests headed to the resort’s Great Lawn, where Artisan Events had transformed the large grassy space into an amusement park. Guests spent the evening embracing their inner kid while spinning in giant teacups, launching down jumbo slides, soaring in hot-air balloons and looking down on the world from the Ferris wheel. Guests congregated for dinner under a billowing white tent that was straight out of a fairy tale, with chandeliers, bell jars with twinkling fire lights and delicate pink touches.
