Tanya and Mauricio first met each other in college while working in an afterschool program, but parted ways upon finishing school. Years later, the two ran into one another during a night out and began dating soon after. Two years later, Mauricio romantically proposed at Golden Gate Park’s Conservatory of Flowers, and they began dreaming up the perfect wedding day. The duo wished for an elegant and modern wedding with rustic accents, all perfectly executed in a palette of creams, blushes and greens. Quicksand roses, ranunculus, dahlias and other flowers, mixed with willow, silver dollar eucalyptus and various types of foliage, made for the most amazing floral design, adding gorgeous texture and an incredible whimsical feel to the entire celebration. Wanting the wedding to reflect their culture and love for food and music, Tanya and Mauricio opted for a Spanish-influenced menu and entertainment. A ceviche bar and sangría cocktails were served during cocktail hour, while guests were treated to fajitas and enchiladas for a decadent dinner, and a live mariachi band to celebrate the love and unity between the couple.
