Four Seasons Santa Barbara Biltmore Resort is among Santa Barbara’s favorite wedding destination hot spot which usually, the resort’s Spanish-influenced architecture and natural setting is what most couples draw from for their wedding style, but not for Valerie and Blaine.

Their wedding’s upscale Miami lounge theme was inspired by Valerie and Blaine’s favorite home-away-from-home, the Raleigh Hotel in Miami, Florida. The Raleigh Hotel's signature black, white, and coral color palate and contemporary, clean-line aesthetics were woven throughout every design element. The hotel’s trademark black pinstripe motif became a unifying element of the wedding, from invitations, to ceremony chair covers, to the dance floor, menu, and favor boxes. Decorative square vases bursting with crimson roses and featuring the clean black and white pinstripe pattern lined the receptions tables, while lime green accents in the linens and lighting provided a pleasing contrast. A custom-designed outdoor lounge area in the style of the Raleigh’s cabanas enveloped guests in comfortable, stylish decadence.  The cabanas were embellished with fire pits, Adirondack lounge furniture, and custom-made throw pillows, creating a serene escape—an oasis for guests to converse and reflect on the beauty of the event. Guests experienced the high life, sipping champagne and cocktails to the smooth stylings of Dwight Kennedy Music. The Four Seasons provided a decadent ensemble of culinary concoctions, from Glazed Chilean Sea Bass with wasabi whipped potatoes to a hot doughnut station with an assorted designer coffee bar.
