Sweep your guests off to an Italian village with this dreamy, Mediterranean table setting designed by Marisa Ronca of the Los Angeles-based Marisa Nicole Events. Inspired by a vibrant white and cerulean La Tavola table linen covered in a bold circular pattern and navy filigree accents, Ronca stacked Dish Wish’s mismatched royal blue-and-white china atop vintage gold chargers from Archive Rentals to create a striking blend of texture, color and pattern. Enchanted Garden Floral Design added herb sprigs in lieu of traditional florals to ground the visage in an earthy, Mediterranean feel. Vintage goblets spilling with Italian herbs added to the Italian hillside-feel, while white floral centerpieces gave the affair a European crispness. The mix of blues, golds, grays, whites and greens paired with both organic and luxe details are anchored by the linen’s big, bold pattern—the statement piece that ties it all together. Says Marisa, “our aim was to create a modern twist on an old-school Italian soiree. There’s something simply stunning about the combination of vibrant Mediterranean blues with soft and subtle whites.”
