Los Angeles’ XO Bloom (formerly Luna Gardens Events) has expanded its business by opening a second boutique in Westlake Village to serve the Conejo Valley (from Calabasas to Santa Barbara). The airy space is brimming with fresh flowers, planted terrariums and dried floral arrangements in addition to a bounty of home accessories, including scented candles and delicate vases of every shape and size. The bonus at this location is XO Bloom's DIY flower bar concept, a 13-seat bar where budding florists can try their hand at arranging. Customers may choose from 10 predesigned arrangements ($55–$250), create their own using the flowers from the shop’s cooler (priced per stem) or go green with a succulent housed in a cool terrarium. The design pros at XO Bloom provide tips and guidance throughout the process, so the result is nothing short of beautiful. Private parties are a great option for bridal showers, says sales director Simone Rachal, who will happily customize a design experience, be it creating bouquets or flower crowns, or a couple-bonding moment with your groom while making a bouquet and boutonnieres. Plus, XO Bloom's private space for design and floral consolations provide the perfect environment for brainstorming the details of your dream wedding.
