Spring is finally in full bloom and if you're one of the lucky ones saying "I do" this season, you have the advantage of selecting from a variety of the most gorgeous and vibrant flower specimens. We asked our local wedding experts for their take on what's popular this season when it comes to blooms. Scroll down to see what 11 spring trends are standing out this year.

COLOR ME HAPPY
With so many floral options to choose from, couples can create a visual display to suit any taste. We're currently seeing flower combinations of textured blooms and fresh, cheerful hues that evoke the beauty of the season, such as light pink, lavender, pale yellow, light blue, and green.

FRUIT OF PARADISE
Add fresh, cut fruit into your tablescape or work it directly into your arrangements. Citrus is most commonly incorporated to floral design as it is durable and always in season, but you'll see a wide variety of fruit during the summer (cherries, grapes, peaches, etc).

HAZY SHADE OF WINTER SPRING
Since we have seen a very gloomy winter & beginning of spring here in California, clients are eager to bring in a very colorful palette for spring and the rest of the wedding season. They also aren't afraid to mix non-traditional colors together. Instead of sticking to various shades of blush pinks or whites & ivory’s flowers, the request has been to mix light blue, light pink, and lavender tones to create a blended centerpiece that can pair with the perfect décor.

GOIN' GREEN
Spring greenery is a great way to incorporate the beauty of spring into the wedding décor. There is a lot of beautiful greenery which is only available in spring and a huge variety. It will be in season till the middle of May and it will be no season for lots of greenery in June and July.

SUNRISE, SUNSET
The most requested palettes we seeing this season are inspired by hues of both the sunrise (lighter pinks, peach, soft yellow and a pop of sky blue) and sunset (deeper tones of orange, true pink, magenta, mauve, dark blue, purples, browns).

UNDERNEATH THE ARCH
Open ceremony arches are a current trend we're seeing for spring weddings, allowing the natural beauty of the surroundings to shine through.

THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL
When leveling up your wedding design, don't be afraid to use bright colors. If having colorful décor is too big of a statement, allow your flowers to instead transform the event with various bold shades and unique blooms.

EVER AFTER
Your special blooms can live happily ever after with a little magic! Bright and colorful florals preserve the best, especially peonies, lisianthus, tulips, butterfly ranunculus, dogwood and cosmos. Variations of the size of blooms in your bouquet is excellent for our smaller items like ring holders, wine stoppers, and necklaces. Be sure to request “texture” and greenery from your floral designer for the best design options.

REMEMBER THE TIME
Do you have a bloom that reminds you of a loved one or your childhood? Embrace that! Incorporate a few mono-specimen bouquets, like calla lillies, of your lost loved one's favorite flower.

THE COMEBACK KIDS
Carnations & baby’s breath have reinvented themselves in the industry. Using these specimens is no longer frowned upon but is being praised for their durability, color variety, and cost-effectiveness. There are so many carnation colors to work with, and baby’s breath can be dusted with any spray paint color to match all event themes.

EVERYTHING'S COMING UP ROSES, AGAIN
Large fluffy roses are always popular specimen for spring, and monospecimen bridal bouquets of roses are very popular right now in all-white or blush hues.
