Hannah and David may have met at Ohio State University, but they were not college sweethearts. It was a lucky twist of fate that both were visiting friends on the same weekend. From the start, they knew there was something special between them — so special that on a sunny day in May, the couple tied the knot at St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church. The ceremony was intimate and traditional, blending heartfelt moments with sacred Greek Orthodox customs. The bride and groom participated in a crowning ceremony, with David's sister serving as their Koumbara, a traditional wedding sponsor, in attendance. For the ceremony, Hannah wore a classic lace ballgown with delicate sleeves and a timeless mock neck. As a sentimental detail, a custom-embroidered patch featuring the wedding date and their names was sewn onto her dress. Her bridesmaids added a touch of French blue — her something blue. David wore a traditional suit and bow tie; his groomsmen perfectly coordinated with him. The reception took place outside the church, in the beautiful, sunny California weather. The décor was simple and elegant, featuring white florals, neutral linens and pops of French blue accents. The setup centered around a dance floor, inviting everyone to enjoy themselves. On the dance floor, Hannah revealed her second look of the night: a chic satin dress paired with a trailing chiffon scarf, perfect for dancing the night away. As the night progressed and the twinkling string lights cast a warm glow over the party, loved ones celebrated the start of Hannah and David’s next chapter.
From sacred traditions to a chic second look on the dance floor, Hannah & David’s wedding was a perfect blend of elegance and joy.
