Nicolette Kelegian and T.J. McCaffrey’s dreamy beachfront wedding was nothing short of a modern fairy tale. Flanked by ghost chairs and white flowers with subtle butterfly installations, the couple walked down a mirrored aisle that reflected the blue Laguna Beach sky. They said “I do” beneath a clear acrylic arch containing white flowers, that appeared to float in the air around the couple. A table of tiny mirrored boxes held black acrylic butterfly cutouts, which served as both the seating chart and wedding favors. The modern-glam aesthetic continued inside at the
reception, where white drapes hung from the walls and a combination of round, rectangular and serpentine tables were decorated in lavish style. Some tables held an abundance of single white roses in individual glasses; others were covered in white and gold candles; and still others featured flowing white orchid centerpieces that towered above the scene. Pops of black and gold complemented the white palette in the form of gilded chairs, and black linens and streamers. A playful installation of reflective silver and white confetti streamers strung with thousands of butterflies floated above the mirrored dance floor, where guests danced the night away to the beats of Greg Hosharian’s Armenian band, fueled by doughnuts, courtesy of the bride’s family-owned doughnut company and Los Angeles institution, Randy’s Donuts.
