A Breathtaking Wedding With Impeccable Views at Saddlerock Ranch
Katie, a Florida native, and Colton, who hails from California, met through mutual friends at an IHOP during their freshman year at Baylor University in Waco, Texas and really hit it off when they held hands to keep from falling while roller skating with their friends. Colton had a big plan when it came to proposing to Katie. During their junior year of college, the couple visited one of Katie's favorite childhood spots in Pensacola, Fort Baranncas, an old military fort overlooking the ocean. The weather proved to be a challenge, and as soon as the couple arrived, it began hailing, raining and tornado sirens were blaring. After spending two hours in the cinderblock gift shop bathroom, Colton found the one spot of the fort with remaining light and proposed to Katie!
Blushes, creams, olive and touch of rose gold proved to be the perfect palette for the big day, and the beautiful views of Saddlerock Ranch served as an impeccable backdrop for Katie and Colton's vows. Guests made their way to the reception area, where gorgeous florals graced each and every table, making for a lovely garden chic vibe. Soft pink napkins paired with elegant glassware created amazing place settings, while the twinkle lights overhead provided light for guests to dance into the night. Katie and Colton drove off in a 1957 baby blue Thunderbird to celebrate becoming Mr. and Mrs.
