Megan and Reed were high school prom dates 12 years before they reconnected in San Francisco. It wasn’t until five years after college graduation that the two met again and fell for each other.
Before reciting their vows on their wedding day, the pair had separate quarters at the Langham Huntington, Pasadena to get ready and snap pre-ceremony photos by their incredible photographer, Rebecca Theresa, without seeing each other. Keeping to family tradition, the two held their ceremony at the stunning St. Philip the Apostle Church in Pasadena. Megan locked eyes with Reed for the first time of the day as she descended the aisle in a dreamy A-line Pronovias gown from The White Dress.
The magic trailed on to their reception at Caltech in the Dabney Gardens, doused in rustic, elegant detail. Ixora Florist curated arrangements of all-white blossoms to accentuate the gold-rimmed glassware. Guests were greeted with hand-passed hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails. The day of excitement and blissful emotion ended with a night of dancing to the Lucky Devils Band, before the couple ventured away to Bali for a tropical honeymoon.
