Jane and Tom first met during their senior year at Cornell University in New York through a mutual friend. Shortly after, Tom began as a teacher's assistant in one of Jane's classes, and the rest is history. On Christmas Eve of 2016, Tom asked Jane to marry him and the two became engaged!
The majority of wedding guests travelled from the East Coast for the affair, so the couple wanted them to experience Northern California's wine country and all that it has to offer. Jane and Tom said their "I dos" during a beautiful ceremony beneath the trees perfectly executed by Quintana Events. Jane carried a lovely bouquet of florals by Poppystone Designs in various shades of purples, blues and pinks, adding a fresh pop of color to her bridal look.
The couple rode to their ceremony in a vintage convertible Volkswagen bug, where incredible tablescapes adorned in greenery and sophisticated glassware awaited. One of Jane's favorite elements was a wall of twinkle lights behind the head table. “I think they made my venue feel exactly how I wanted it to -- beautiful, warm, rustic, romantic, but clean and contemporary,” she says.
Their biggest wedding advice? "Don't get too caught up in every small detail, or you'll drive yourself crazy. Focus your time and energy on the things you care about,” note the couple.
