Ximena and Brandon's gorgeous wedding day at Kestrel Park showcased a beautiful neutral palette of soft blues, creams, blushes and pops of bright pink and orange. The two originally met at through Brandon's sister, one of Ximena's friends in high school, at a birthday party in 2007. Ximena and Brandon danced together at the party and "haven't stopped dancing ever since." Brandon proposed at Lands End in San Francisco, the duo's favorite hiking trail, on a little ledge overlooking the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge. The bride and groom to-be celebrated with dinner at Le P'tit Laurent, the French restaurant where they had their first date in San Francisco.
Davia Lee Weddings & Events helped plan the day from top to bottom. Ximena and Brandon picked the lovely Kestrel Park for their venue after falling in love with the pretty 19th century style architectre and blooming gardens. Brandon gifted Ximena a gorgeous 1940's engagement ring, and the couple wanted to incorporate the incredible vintage flare of the piece into their wedding affair. Music by Vintage Confidential from Elan Artists and delicious cocktails from Pharmacie paired with traditional Colombian food prepared by Country Garden Catering (owned by the groom's mother!) beautifully highlighted that vintage flare and the couple's heritage. Dinner was served beneath the whimsical sycamore trees, where Ximena and Brandon shared a lovely meal with family and friends. The couple cut their wedding cake with Brandon's United States Marines sword to commemorate his time in the military.
